here is my idea (that i will keep vague). it has no influence on anything at all! it could have happened and could have not, because it does not matter in the end. but i thought of it and it was cool and Possible. so i wrote it down.

unimportant meeting

a very long time ago, a man went traveling to meet the rusui no shitai. he walked very far, sailed very far, and fell very far… and when he was in depths, he met them! the rusui no shitai said this: ‘why have you come!’

they talked for a long time. and the man said (something like) this…

‘you claim you are past your prime, what BS!!!! you're lying…. i think you are more powerful than you realize something something... turn your laments from blah blah blah to LALALA!’

a fancy pep talk. he then had a proposition! the man said, ‘what say you!’

ikari declined for many reasons. but they were very interested, because one of the mans goals rang very true with them! but ikari had to keep things secret for enkanomiya and for their own life

they said (something like), ‘you are mistaken! the rusui no shitai is not alive… and be glad it is!!!! it failed at providing adequate light, guidance, protection…… IT SUCKED!!! and too many have died from it. it will not help you!!!!!!!’

the man said… aw man. shook his head. went tsk tsk. BUT he gave ikari a gift (that they later gave to a sinshade to hold onto because they weren’t too fond of it actually) (they were not sure of what to do with it)

then! watching as the man returned to the surface, ikari wondered if there was any truth in what he said… but whatever….

then he went to sleep with the rest of the rays and went ZZZZZZZZ
